The story of Noreen
We found out we were expecting you at 25-1/2 weeks; you were born at 34 weeks. We were told you would “fail to thrive “. You started Early Intervention and learned to roll over, sit up, eventually crawl. You aged out of EI and started at our local Easter Seals. You got terribly sick; genetic testing done and we got the diagnosis. A diagnosis that explains a lot; but has a cruel outcome. Fast forward 5 years; you are walking (when we were told that would never happen); you bring such love and joy to all you meet. You are known as the Mayor of your school. You amaze us every day! You are Rare! You are a WARRIOR! You are our AMAZING son.
