The story of Bridget

In 2006 I was diagnosed with Good Pastures Syndrome and was told it is a rare autoimmune disease only 1 in a million get it, lucky me! I get sick every so often, I cough up lots of blood and can’t breath usually I’m in the hospital most of that time in icu for a month at a time. Treatment for my condition is plasmaphleresis, high doses of steroids, and cytoxin which is a chemo pill. There is no cure for this yet but I am praying that there is enough awareness of it for a cure to be found. I have two children that fully understand my condition but never give up hope for a cure.
