The story of Rebecca
I’m 20 years old. I have had many ups and downs over the last few years I battled through college while having seizures because I was put on epilepsy meds that made me have seizures I left college with my level three diploma in IT software and hardware last yearÂ
But after years of tests and blood tests and months of waiting and many hosptial stays and appointments  in December 2017 I got told my genetic tests showed that I had a one of a kind gene change that they haven’t seen before but it ment that I had myoclonus dystonia finally had a diagnoses that I had longed for it explained what had been happening to me for many years. It also ment that I couldn’t be told that I’m faking by anyone. The medication clonazepam is not helping my jerks alot.
But I have been told it is lifelong and the gene change hasn’t been reported before my family said I was always a difficult one lolÂ
My genetic diagnosis Is Autosomal dominant myocloinc dystoina type 11Â
I will keep fighting and it will never stop meÂ
