The story of Dominik
Our son Dominik is three years old. He was born 40 weeks pregnant but weighed too little. Since birth, he had eating problems, he developed different. After many months of searching, on June 7, 2021, we received a diagnosis – a rare genetic defect of DYRK1A Syndrome. Dominik does not speak, he has microcephaly, problems with balance, he does not develop like his peers, he has a visual impairment, he has many therapies and so on :). But this is only part of his life, he is our treasure and happiness. He smiles a lot and he is brave. We cannot imagine our family without him. His presence changed our hearts for the better.
