The story of Margaret
Hi everyone, I’ll keep this brief.
I first noticed I had a problem over 30 years ago, just after I’d had my first child.
There’s a very definite look that people give you when you smell. The sort of face you might pull yourself when you’ve trodden in something yuckie.  I used to take my baby to the clinic every week and people would look at me that way, a mixture of disgust and shock. I mean, there’s no reason for anyone to smell is there……. there’s nothing cheaper than soap and water is there!!  I remember one lady turning to me and saying that in a very loud voice and I felt utterly ashamed. And that attitude has been carrying on for over 30 years now. I don’t want to be blamed anymore. It’s not my fault and I can’t keep apologising for it.
