The story of Ryder
When Ryder was 6 month old he was diagnosed with Axenfeld-rieger syndrome PITX2 and macrocephaly. We noticed he was seeing stuff we put in from of his face and the doctor was concerned about his head size so we referred to a big hospital about 2 hours away and it wasn’t within a day they doctor told us what he has so then we were referred to a genetic doctor and neurologist. We see the eye doctor every 6 months to monitor eye pressure and see genetic and neurologist every year. Lately we have been going down every 3 months cause Ryder eye pressure went way high now Ryder is on eye drops and could be a permanent thing for him. His eye doctor is trying to hold off on doing any form of surgery due to his age. Ryder does attend school and is very smart for his age.
