The story of Jenna
Hi everyone. I have read all of your stories and it has made me feel better. It is hard to get your family and friends to understand the pain I have been in since the age of 20. My knees would dislocate at the age of 12 and the doctors said it was normal but it never stopped. Anyway long story short my right knee has gone through tons of surgeries and just Sept 13,2016 I had a torn Meniscus repaired. The pain got worse and after five weeks I got another MRI. My doctor told me that I have AVN of the Lateral femoral condole. Since then I feel he doesn’t know what to do. Also during surgery he saw that I am a stage 3 with Osteoarthritis. I am 41 and he is against a total replacement because of my age. I currently go to OSU in Columbus,oh. He is an amazing doctor, I just think AVN is rare. I was told it could heal itself. Is this true? I lost my job since I went over FMLA plus it is factory work and the pain is to bad so I can’t do it anyway. Any ideas or help I would gladly appreciate it..
