The story of Leslie
Melanie Hall Babin is an amazing person who has fought her way back from this disease. When she was finally diagnosed, her family and friends rallied around her to support and help. We all took shifts, for months, staying with her, so she wouldn’t be alone in the hospital. I spent many nights sitting in a chair, watching and helping her while in the hospital. A strong support system is definitely important at times like these. Paralyzed from the neck down, on a ventilator, trying to fight for her life on the daily basis. She has succeeded. She now helps others dealing with this disease. She is my hero! I love you, Mel!
