The story of Noah

Noah was diagnosed with MHE at 6 months old, which is a rare bone disease where benign bone tumors grow on the body. He had his first surgery at 2 years old to remove a osteochondroma (bone tumor) from his right rib along with removing his rib in case it was cancerous. Thankfully, it turned out to be non-cancerous. He just recently had a surgery at 8 years old to remove more tumors as well as put plates in his knees to correct his knock-knees. MHE causes debilitating pain in some cases and the only treatment as of now is surgery. MHE can cause many deformities and affect people in many ways, but Noah has shown resilience and bravery when faced with this disease. He enjoys playing outside, riding his bike and playing baseball! MHE is just a part of his story, not his whole story, and he shows us that every single day.
