Lupus erythematodes

The story of Jule

Diagnosed when I was 18. Since then the disease comes and goes irregularly. Can’t be in the sunlight for too long because UV triggers a new onset. If this happens the skin on my body gets red spots on it and I get exhausted because of changing blood levels. I am always taking immunosuppressives which sometimes causes additional illnesses.

I was rather lucky because of my parents medical background, which lead to an early diagnosis. Many lupus patients get false treatments over years and suffer a lot more.Â
