The story of Skylar
I was born with a genetic disease, there is no cure and it comes with many struggles. The disorder affects my entire body, from my hair to my fingernails. Because of my disease, I have had 5 reconstructive surgeries and completed countless hours of physical therapy. These things only improve my symptoms, but do not take them away. If living with GO has taught me anything, it’s that you never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option.
