The story of Michelle

My name is Michelle. I was born with a congenital heart defect called tretlogy of fallout . I have had my first open heart surgery when I was 2 , my second when I was 5 the last one 13. I have had two sinus surgeries , Two mouth surgeries. A grandma seizure when I was 17, suffered brain damage because of that and was in a coma for about a week. I got diagnosed at age 32 with 22q11, no one in my family has it .I managed to get my AA degree at Los Angeles Harbor College. Went on to get my BA degree at Cal State Dominguez were I became president of an Association called Human Services. Started my podcast at CSUDH. I moved up to Oxnard that’s were I got diagnosed intellectual disability and started doing more advocacy for people with disabilities to get more resources. Moved up the to Sacramento were I am now a State employee for Department of Conservation.
