The story of Jesse
I was diagnosed with a rare disease called Gardner Syndrome. This disease is a form of Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) that is characterised by multiple colorectal polyps and various types of tumours/growths. People with Gardner Syndrome have a high risk of developing colorectal cancer at a young age, they are also at an increased risk of developing other FAP related cancers. This disease is genetic and has no cure, the lifespan for people who have Gardner Syndrome is ranged within the 40’s. Living with this disease is nothing but easy right now. I have accepted this disease as apart of me but it doesn’t define who I am and it never will. It just shows how precious time really is, each second counts! 🙌🏽
