Lichen Sclerosus is a debilitating disease that affects usually the genital area but can be anywhere on the body with the loss of anatomy, functions, cosmetics, etc. including itching, tearing, fissures, blisters, fusing, etc. It’s very painful and unable to live a normal physical life and affects you emotionally and mentally as well. So far the best treatment I have found is a stem cell injection but there is no insurance to help with the “surgeries”. There needs to be more research about this disease and to find a cure!
