It wasn’t a pinched nerve.

The story of Dana

Back in October 2017 I had a stitch in my left side. I have back issues and figured it was just another pinched nerve. After almost a week the pain was so bad I finally went to the ER. After a CT scan and morphine that didn’t touch the pain I was told I had infarcts to my left kidney and spleen. Several days in the hospital, over 80 tubes of blood, and a bone marrow biopsy landed me with ET. It’s been a bit of a relief to know what is really wrong, and my medical team are just the best. I’ve been following the medical game plan an the oral chemo is controlling my platelet count.Â
