I don’t really know what to say other than ICP caused one of my twins to lose his life at 32 weeks. Its incredibly rare that this happens although for the large majority of women it is still an extremely uncomfortable, painful and distressing condition to have .
In the weeks before my twins were born I was so seriously unwell I nearly lost my life too, I was tearing at my skin until it bled but nothing would stop the agony. My son died due to the illness and his surviving twin sister would not have been long behind him had they not been born.
I don’t really have much else to say other than this is a devastating illness which has changed our family forever.
