The story of Cynthia
I went to the ER with chest pain fortunately my heart was fine but he noticed my CPK level that tell if you have muscle damage was very high . He told me to have my primary care doctor to monitor it . I went to my doctor and she monitored it for 4 months and it kept going up so I had a muscle biopsy . The results were non inflammatory necrotizing myopathy . It means my muscles are dying . There is no treatment for this and hardly any research. I went to a specialist and he said he had never seen anyone with this . So I sit and wait as my muscles get weaker and one day it with either put me in a wheelchair or on life support.
