I am 56 years old and I was diagnosed at 46, I was lucky to have had an early diagnosis in the sense that I did not have sequels, the problem was discovered at the beginning of the symptoms, which does not happen with most patients with this pathology. Many people die without the diagnosis, because they die of infection and are not aware that this happened because their bodies were able to defend themselves against it. That’s why today I fight to make the disease known so that other people can have the same opportunity I had, a quick diagnosis, treatment and a normal life.
