The story of Natalie
My daughter, Natalie, was diagnosed with CRPS in 2017. Since then she has had periods varying from no pain at all, to being confined to a wheelchair and walker and is now back to walking with PT.
CRPS is a disease which is still very much a mystery in the medical community, and therefore has no cure. Pain can be managed in some cases, but for many, it never goes away completely. We never know when she will have a “flare” or when her pain may spread to another part of her body. It is a balance of being mindful of when to slow down, and being able to live her life as a kid!
