The story of Annora
Call me Nora.
I am disabled.
I have many rare diseases running through my veins.
Cyclic vomiting syndrome, neurofibromatosis, hyper mobility syndrome, POTS, immune deficiencies, Tracheomalacia, vocal cord dysfunction, subglotic edema, and a slew of more common ones.
I am a medical abnormality.
I’ve had doctors told me I defy odds. That what I’m doing shouldn’t be possible – that my body didn’t read the textbook and is doing impossible things.
But it doesn’t change who I am.
Despite the daily pain, despite the dozens of meds that I take daily – I am still an activist. A video gamer. A blogger. A friend.
And above all, I am Nora.
