Baby Frank is a Fighter

The story of Jennifer

I had an emergency c-section at 36 weeks. My Baby was born with a life threatening congenital heart defect called Dilated cardiomyopathy. He has been hospitalized since his birth 7 weeks ago. This is a life threatening heart condition not treatable with surgery. There is no cure. If he doesn’t receive a heart transplant then he will pass away. At this time, he is not eligible for a heart transplant because his body is not big enough and strong enough to survive the surgery. At this point we need a miracle. Congenital heart disease is the number one birth defect in infants. Infants with cardiomyopathy have a higher mortality rate than children with cancer.
