The story of eduardo
My name is Eduardo Silveira.
I’m Brazilian and I’m 30 years old, I went with FSHD.
In all these years, I’ve been exercising to the fullest, to try to reduce the effects of muscle degradation.
I do physical therapy and exercise bike every day, and I don’t stop doing anything because of the disease.
I travel a lot, with a cane or a wheelchair, but nothing can stop me!
Here in Brazil, I created an association, ABRAFEU (www.abrafeu.org.br), a Brazilian Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy Association, to help people with the same pathology to live better, without fear, and, above all, with great hope.
