About TEDDY European Network of Excellence for Paediatric Clinical Research
TEDDY Network is always proactive in the promotion of paediatric pharmacological research with a particular interest to the populations and research fields requiring more attention like the rare diseases. TEDDY is a Network strongly dedicated to the promotion and implementation of adequate health policies and a social awareness on the importance of rare diseases research. TEDDY Network is among the beneficiaries of the European Joint Programme on Rare Disease (EJPRD), aimed to create a comprehensive, sustainable system allowing virtuous circle between research, care and medical innovation in the rare diseases field. TEDDY is actively participating in this project to increase awareness on the importance of the paediatric and Young patient’s engagement through the development and organization of educational materials on rare diseases and activities for paediatric patients. Even this year, TEDDY welcomes the “Rare Disease Day” initiative and is pleased to contribute to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives by becoming a friend of Rare Disease Day and showing its support on its official website and social networks.
