About South West Genomic Medicine Service Alliance
We are an alliance of healthcare and research professionals in the South West of England promoting genomic medicine services. We are here to support patients and their families make informed decisions about genetic testing for cancer and rare disease. On Rare Disease Day, we will join our national and regional teams to promote the NHS Rare Disease Action Plan, which genetic testing will feature. We will also be highlighting some of the roles of our team, including our genomic health practitioners and our genetic counselling services.
