About Rare Diseases Greece
Rare Diseases Greece / RDG is a non-profit association based in Athens covering the entire Greek territory, with 29 members – associations, unions, and civic, non-profit organizations representing patients with rare diseases throughout the country.
RDG is the organization representing patients with rare diseases in Greece, the official representative body of Greece in the Council of National Alliances/CNA, and a member of the European Organization for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS).
RDG participates in committees and working groups, such as the Committee for Rare Diseases, the Working Group for Rare Diseases for Rare Disease Patient Registry and Treatment Protocols, and the Pharmaceutical Expenditure Monitoring Committee of the Ministry of Health.
