About Ramino Bio
Ramino-Bio is developing a drug to treat Maple Syrup Urine Disease, in which genetic mutations impair BCAAs catabolic activity, leading to elevated BCAAs levels. The buildup of BCAAs in the circulation leads to toxic byproducts, which are life-threatening if not treated.
Currently, there is no therapy for MSUD patients, only diet management. Ramino Bio is in pre-clinical stages.
