About Mansoura University – Faculty of Medicine
Campaign program
We organized this event to improve overall knowledge about the rare diseases highlighting spinal muscle atrophy (SMA) in Egypt.
Our target audience will be mainly future doctors and medical student who will carry the responsibility to diagnose, treat, do more research about those diseases in the future.
Tuesday 27/2
-Presentation:
⁃ Our team will organize a presentation at mansoura university to raise awareness about rare disease day and give a brief knowledge about spinal muscle atrophy and its newly approved drug in Egypt under supervision of our professors.
⁃ The audience will be medical doctors and students
Wednesday 28/2 and Thursday 29/2.
⁃Multiple booths , posters and brochures will be distributed over the mansoura university Faculty of Medicine.
⁃ Our team will be distributed over the campus to deliver information and fill a survey about rare diseases and SMA in a simplified manner.
