About KIDS Bari
Even this year KIDS Bari supports the Rare Disease Day campaign and stays proactive in raising awareness about rare diseases. KIDS Bari is the first Young Person’s Advisory Group in Italy, promoted by Consorzio per Valutazioni Biologiche e Farmacologiche, TEDDY European Network of Excellence for Paediatric Clinical Research and the Paediatric Hospital “Giovanni XXIII” of Bari, with the aim to give voice to children and youths in the field of health and clinical research. It is an organization composed of young patients and healthy youths, up to 18 years of age who are actively involved in the definition of key issues and questions in the research projects as well as in the communication and sensitization activities about the healthcare by consciously using the social networks. In the last two years the KIDS Bari members became friends of Rare Disease Day and developed drawings, videos and posts on social media and websites to promote the initiative. Even this year KIDS Bari will raise awareness about Rare Diseases in schools and online through the dissemination of posts and videos on social media and web pages.
