About InfoMaladiesRares
Our organisation is dedicated to give information and support to patients, public and professionnals of the french speaking area of Switzerland. Our website is regularly updated with information on diseases based on Orphanet database and also specific consultations in our region. We also represent a link with local organisation and maintain information about any event related to rare diseases.
We are based in the two main university hospitals of Lausanne and Geneva and answer to all requests through the phone or by email. A genetic counselor and a biologist are in charge of  the Helpline four days a week service and are supervised by two medical doctors.
