About Hypersomnolence Australia
Hypersomnolence Australia (HA) is a registered non-profit health promotion charity. Our primary purpose is to support the medical community work towards a better understanding of, including identifying biomarkers that will lead to more appropriate diagnostic tools and ultimately a cure for the rare neurological disorder Idiopathic Hypersomnia. We are also committed to advocating for better access to effective treatments, being a strong advocate, and to raising awareness and educating others about Idiopathic Hypersomnia and Narcolepsy which is also a rare neurological disorder. Our goal is to not just change the process to diagnosis but also the level of care and services available to people post diagnosis.
We will be sharing information posters and resources online to help shine a light on Idiopathic Hypersomnia and Narcolepsy.
