About Hereditary angioedema association – HAE Serbia
HAE Serbia is the national association of individuals affected by hereditary angioedema (HAE), a congenital deficiency of the blood protein C1 inhibitor which affects one in 50,000 people.
The association brings together patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide support to individuals with this primary immunodeficiency and raise awareness about HAE.
HAE Serbia was established in 2016 on Rare Disease Day and is a full member of the global organization HAEi. We have conducted numerous campaigns to raise awareness about this rare and potentially life-threatening condition.
