Our Mission:
To advance the wellbeing of children and young people in healthcare.
Our Objectives:
Advocate on behalf of all children and young people in the healthcare and hospital system.
Develop partnerships with health care professionals, parents/carers, youth and government to achieve effective and sustainable health care services for children and young people.
Educate and raise awareness through the provision of policy and information services for professionals, consumers and the general community.
AWCH advocates for a family-oriented approach to the care of children, acknowledging that families are the main support and strength for children and young people when they are sick or have a chronic illness or condition.
