About Associa-Med Tunisia (Tunisia Medical Students’ Association)
The Associa -Med ( Internal Interns Association of Students of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis) was founded in 1989 to give impetus , more than necessary, in community life , hitherto non-existent within the faculty medicine of Tunis. This is primarily a non-governmental organization , non-profit whose main purpose is to strengthen active and effective participation of students.
The Associa -Med became a full member of IFMSA ( Internationnal Federation of Medical Students ‘ Associations ) in 1999 .
Mission: – Supervision of medical students in the use of their knowledge and abilities for the good of society. – Serve as a forum for medical students to discuss topics related to public health , education and science. – Promote the exchange of training and research , as well as projects and training for medical students. – Serve as a link between its members and national and international organizations and foster collaboration between them for the good of society . – Serve as a link between students from different faculties of medicine. – Revitalization of Culture, Sports and Recreation within faculties and beyond . – Involvement of students in the social and humanitarian fields and familiar with volunteering. – Actively participate in the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations.
