Description
The 2nd and 3rd Primary Schools of Nea Erythraia will join forces to participate in Rare Disease Day through a series of activities. Through presentations, videos, and discussions, students will learn about rare diseases, fostering empathy and understanding of the challenges patients face. A parent from the pharmaceutical industry will share insights on the importance of scientific research and drug development, while students will express their support through creative initiatives such as the “Wall of Hope.” On the day of the event, everyone will wear something unique or “rare,” promoting the message of diversity and inclusion. Using technology, students will design automation projects with robotics kits and sensors, creating solutions that can improve the daily lives of people with rare diseases. The day will conclude with a showcase of all activities, proving that even small actions can make a big difference. Because every life matters!
