Singapore

Patient organisations in Singapore first participated in Rare Disease Day in 2013. To launch their campaign, they hosted a “Fun Family Afternoon,” which included information sessions for adults and fun activities for children, such as balloon sculpting and musical therapy. Following years have included art exhibitions and silent auctions to raise awareness and money for rare diseases.

To celebrate Rare Disease Day 2020 Singapore held a fun run bringing together all members of the community to help raise awareness for rare diseases.
