For Rare Disease Day 2019, a film screening on the lives of a family and the struggles of their two daughters with a rare disease was shown. 

For Rare Disease Day 2020 Montenegro held a full day event including an educational program, Q&A on rare diseases and a press conference for the whole community – from decision makers to patients and their families. In addition there were TV and radio broadcasts and photos of painted hands shared to show solidarity of people living with rare disease in their community.
