About Immune Deficiencies Foundation Australia
IDFA is a national not-for-profit and leading peak body offering education, advocacy and awareness for Australians living with primary or secondary immunodeficiencies. In conjunction with our community-focussed model of care.
In 2025, IDFA’s goal is to support members in “having the conversation” about their rare disease. Our focus will span multiple areas, especially on helping children navigate their environments and talk about their immunodeficiency. We aim to empower members to share their stories to raise awareness and educate the community about rare diseases.
IDFA is hosting a colouring competition; highlighting members with a rare disease via a media and social media campaign; engage with child members as ‘Campaign Heroes’ to connect with friends, family and peers around their Rare Disease.
