Rare diseases awareness in schools: “10days for rare (10DAYS4RARE)” Sharing lessons on rare diseases in schools: “Living with a rare disease” and the “Friendship Story” in more than 16 different schools in Kigali, during 8 days: from 19th to 28th Feb. 2024. For only 40 minutes in each class, a lesson can be done to inform and introduce basic understanding of living with a rare disease. The materials to be used are found on School toolkit: explaining living with a rare disease to children and teenagers – Rare Disease Day 2024. We would like to invite schools to involve children and student in this awareness campaign with this educational initiative to let be more informed early to better fight rare diseases.
