The Dept. of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Padova is organizing several events to celebrate the Rare Disease Day 2024 that involve students from city schools as well as citizens.
A series of meetings have been held in schools over the past few months to raise awareness of the meaning of ‘rare disease’ and what research can do in this field. The classes involved in this initiative have been invited to take part in two parallel competitions, a photography competition (for students aged 14-19) and a comic strip competition (for students aged 10-14), which will end with two final events featuring an exhibition and award ceremony for the best works. The initiative concludes on Saturday 24 February 2024 with an afternoon dedicated to citizenship and an evening show.
