We are excited to announce a charitable exposition and event to raise awareness and support for individuals and families affected by rare diseases as we approach Rare Disease Day 2023.
As part of the worldwide awareness campaign for Rare Disease Day, the DMD CARE Association, along with our friends, partners, and the Center for Expertise in Rare Neurological Diseases at the Dr. Victor Gomoiu Hospital, will host an event and a charity exhibition on 28 February 2023, beginning at 16.00 local time at the L’Amphitheatro cultural center in Bucharest, 27 Plantelor Street.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about rare diseases, their impact on individuals and families, and the ongoing efforts to develop new treatments and cures.
In addition to providing valuable information and resources, this event will also serve as a fundraiser for rare disease research and advocacy.
On the occasion of Rare Disease Day 2023, the L’Amphitheatro Cultural Center building, as well as the Communications Tower of the Special Telecommunications Service in Bucharest, will be illuminated in the campaign colors of blue, green, pink, and purple to raise awareness of rare diseases and the millions of people affected by them worldwide.
