About Raymond A. Wood Foundation
For Rare Disease Day, the Raymond A. Wood Foundation will host the annual Art of Surviving Art competition. This is a juried online art competition held in May for Brain Tumor Awareness Month and celebrates the creativity of the brain tumor community.
Many brain tumor survivors use art as a way to cope with the challenges that come with treatment, a means to calm and focus on a healing brain, or an opportunity to express their experiences.
The purpose of this art exhibition is to give the brain tumor community an opportunity to showcase their work, share their story, and raise awareness and much-needed resources to fund critical programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors.
