Liposarcoma is cancer of the fatty tissue in extrmeties, in my case my upper right thigh.
It is rare and few have seen it.Consequently, it is hard to diagnose and I had difficulty finding a willing, experienced surgeon.
It progressed for many months until a team of oncologists found such a person an orthopedic oncology specialty surgeon.
With radiation radical surgery, and extensive rehab , I am a multi year survivor who volunteers to help others suffering with both common and rare cancers.
