The story of Yannick-Robin

I was diagnosed with Alexander’s Disease through trying to have gender affirming top surgery two years ago, and now live with a wheelchair and cane, after living an active life as a performer and athlete. No, this is not how I thought life would go. But also, I couldn’t imagine it being any other way. If anyone reading this also suffers from SCVIID, know that we can be normal. We deserve a normal life, and I hope it’s what we’re given.
