About Genetic Cures for Kids Inc.
Our Moon’s Mission: Genetic Cures for Kids, is a registered Australian charity raising awareness and funds to cure the rare disease affecting the founders’ daughter – Tallulah Moon Whitrod- and others like her. The disease is called Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia Type 56 (SPG56) and is a progressive neurodegenerative disease.
For Rare Disease Day, we are running a celebratory “Show Your Stripes” campaign across the globe. Supporters will come to school/work/yoga (wherever!) dressed in colourful rainbow stripes to highlight the many shades of rare disease.
