About International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF)
The International Osteoporosis Foundation is the world’s largest NGO dedicated to bone health, and osteoporosis and fragility fracture prevention, with more than 300 member organizations around the world. We are strong advocates for people with skeletal rare diseases (SRDs) and have incorporated SRDs in our new IOF Global Patient Charter call to action. IOF has developed healthcare professional resources on SRDs and offers grants for young researchers in the field under the auspices of its dedicated IOF Skeletal Rare Disease Academy.
