The story of Sam
Hello fellow stripy people.
I’m Sam, and I have Chronic Q Fever, plus a lot of other things.
I finally got my diagnosis of the acute form, about 20 years after infection and a load of misdiagnosis and confusion, but when I took the medication to cure it, I was severely allergic to it. I’ve ended up with the chronic form, and am, as far as I know, the only person in the uk who has it. Guess I’ve earned my stripes!
