TRANSVERSE MYELITIS

The story of Janet

Well first off TM is so rare even the Rare disease scroll doesn’t have it on there!!! She doesn’t have ADEM but it was the closest. Daughter was 7 when TM hit. Within 20 minutes she was paralysed from T10, and is now 19 and still no recovery.. we spent six months in hospital after attack . First three weeks ended with needing Chemotherapy to stop the attack on her spinal cord and more damage.  Anastasia is amazing and lights up people around her . She brings joy with her big smile ! We travel and see the world best we can from a wheelchair . The world needs to be more accessible!
