The story of Candice
Having been born with CAH teenage years were really hard.
I was ashamed, embarrassed and annoyed. It made me really angry.
Now in my 30s I realize it’s who I am, I’ll never be skinny, I’ll never not have to take medicine, I’ll never not be hairy. I’ll always have pimples and have to take extra care of my skin.
But this disease doesn’t define me. It’s makes me me, and it could always be worse.
I have access to the best doctors and I am grateful!
