The story of Stacey
I’m currently 34 years old, I have had Rheumatoid arthritis since I was about 8. When I was 20 I had my right hip fused together as there was no cartilage left between my hip joint. At age 25 I was diagnosed with crohn’s disease after I was admitted to the hospital with a fully blocked intestine. I ended up needing surgery to remove a portion of Intestines. I then started getting open ted scores on my leg that would ooze white pus. After many appointments and biopsies it was found I have the rare disease pyoderma gangrenosum to which there is currently no cure. I’m a lucky and dont have it as bad as some, but have very viable scars on both legs. It’s a horrible disease to which I wish more time could be spent finding a cure.
