So small nobody noticed him to even care……. Fighting to many rare diseases.

The story of Danielle

My son was born early, at 8 months in utero he stopped growing, induced me that day after consistently checking him through ultrasound monitoring him not progress. After 29 hours of labor, born at 4 lbs and 2 ozs. Always thought he was smaller due to being small at birth. At 8 we noticed that he stopped growing at all and stayed at 3’9″ for couple years. Endocrinologist diagnosed him in October 2017 with Growth Hormone Deficiency and now in daily injections which will continue throughout his entire life. Requested MRI after diagnosis and found 5*3*9 mm bilobed mass under his pituitary gland and MRI showed a diagnosis of Hypopituitarism as well. The child has had one medical problem after another since the day he was born. At 10 years old now, his bone age is that of a 7 year old. I’m adding a photo of him at 10 years old 3’10” now.
